Settings
Visible light spans less than one octave, so at 1× the colors sound close together. Wider spreads separate them more clearly, but aren't physically accurate.
Purples and magentas aren't in the rainbow; the eye mixes them from violet and red light, so each one plays as a violet + red pair.
White light is every color at once. Its sound gets louder with how much white is in view, and black (no light) is always silent.
